TSB Deploys Team to Investigate Air Accident in Ottawa, Ontario.
(Gatineau, Quebec, September 4, 2011) – The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed a team to today's air accident in Ottawa, Ontario.
On 4 September 2011, at approximately 3:30 pm Eastern Time, an Embraer 145 operated by Trans States Airlines as United Flight 3363, was involved in an accident.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
