The Transportation Safety Board of Canada Deploys Team to Investigate Helicopter Accident Near Drayton Valley, AB
(Gatineau, Quebec, 6 October 2011) – The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has deployed a team to yesterday's helicopter accident near Drayton Valley, AB.
On 5 October 2011, at approximately 6:30 pm local time, a Bell 206 helicopter was involved in an accident.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
