TSB deploys a team following the girding and sinking of a tug in the North Arm of the Fraser River, British Columbia
Richmond, British Columbia, 23 September 2015 — The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying a team of investigators following the girding and sinking of the tug Sea Imp X in the North Arm of the Fraser River, British Columbia. The occurrence took place yesterday at approximately 20:00 PDT. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
