TSB Deploys team to investigate Pipeline accident in Beardmore
(Gatineau, Quebec, February 20, 2011) – The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed a team to today's pipeline accident in Beardmore, Ontario. TSB senior investigator Don Mustard is leading the team. He is accompanied by another TSB investigator.
On 20 February, just after midnight local time, a pipeline explosion occurred.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
