Investigation report: Fatal aircraft accident near Lloydminster, Alberta
Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A24C0095) into the September 2024 fatal collision with terrain involving a Cessna U206F aircraft, operated by KBM Forestry Consultants Inc., near Lloydminster Airport, Alberta.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, class 4 investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues. See the Policy on Occurrence Classification for more information.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
