TSB is deploying to Coquitlam, BC following an occurrence involving tug Quadrant Partner

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying to Coquitlam, British Columbia, to investigate an occurrence that happened on January 20, where the tug Quadrant Partner struck a bridge. The TSB will be gathering information and assessing the occurrence.


The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
