On 3 August 2025, the passenger vessel Harbour Princess, carrying 58 people, grounded on an underwater rock near Starboat Cove in Burrard Inlet while approaching Point Atkinson, British Columbia. Following the grounding, Canadian Coast Guard vessels responded and escorted the Harbour Princess to Coal Harbour in Vancouver.
